Greetings and Salutations to Everyone,

My name is Mike and I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Home of the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth..... I am an ex-member of the Royal Canadian Navy and then Canadian Forces for over 30 years. I have been a collector for over 45 years when my Grandfather found his WW1 medals and gave them to me..... I have been a collector of Boer War items of all types (medals, books, china, and general collectibles) for the past 40 years and have been trying to do the impossible, to collect one medal from every regiment or unit that served in South Africa..... Especially QSA medals to Canadians..... As I said an impossible dream..... From the first QSA I ever purchased a 9 bar medal for $30.00 to well I better not say what it is worth now as She Who Must be Obeyed may read this..... Hope I can be of some assistance.....

I'm just a hop, skip, and a jump north of you on the QEII...small world! I can't wait to see some of your collection, it sounds marvelous.

As you can see we are very new, but things are coming along nicely. If you have any questions or suggestions, don't hesitate to ask. If you don't see a category yet that you would like to see, I will have no problem accommodating your requests. There are quite a few areas to add yet.

Hello Mike, I have seen you on a few other forums I frequent. Nice to have you aboard. Your knowledge of medals and insignia is a welcome addition to our growing numbers.
