Was wondering if anybody out there has any rations or cigarettes in their collection that they wish to share with. I am interested to see what is out there.

I have a pack that the previous owner inked with the date 1935 and it still has 8 of the original 10 smokes inside. I haven't done the research to determine if that date is correct. Next is the standard issue tin which I believe you already have.

The only rations I have are the standard emergency types and a navy action ration. I really like the flying ration though and it still has it's contents.

Nice collection Steve,I like the Craven tin you've got there.Cigarette tins are very sought after in Holland.
I also see a dynamo operated torch that we call a "knijpkat",in ww2 they were made in concentration camp Vught.
If you are interested, you should google the words,"knijpkat Vught" or "Philips Kommando".

Thanks LSR, I'll definitely do a search and see what I can find. Apparently these lights were also used by the Germans and I've seen a similar model that had a leather tab for attaching to a uniform button which was a common feature of German lights.
