I cannot believe the stuff ppl try to sell. Here is an offering on eBay, for POGS, un-frigging-believable. I have a couple handfulls of these things somewhere. And they are U.S. not Canadian.

Cliff, they may be US, but everyone had them. Did you manage to bring back some of the British and French versions?

Funny thing with the POGs, only the French took the French ones whereas everyone else honoured the US and British ones.

The American and British POGs used an ever changing variety of images on the obverse side of the POG.   The Supreme Food Service POG used the Supreme Company Logo on the obverse.

Not sure I understand why this seems so surprising. This is no different than people collecting coins or other forms of currency.... at least in my mind.

POGS WTF? Are they serious?? Empty POGs as Collectables

For sure, the POGs are just another form of collectable. Seeing how much they sell for will be of interest.

I don't know. Maybe I am just a little 'off' Yeah yeah , stop laughing, I am a lot 'Off' but that is beside the point.

Steve, I suppose looking at it your way, makes sense. Just seemed odd to me that we had pocket loads of these primarily to order 10 coffees at Timmies just piss off the Americans behind us. Childish I know but, KAF was pretty boring most times.

I suppose the WWII veterans likely think the same way in regards to collecting uniforms and such tha they used.

My daughter was dating this militia guy who was full of stories about his time in the "Stan" I caught the bullshit right away but kept egging him on. Eventually we were in my kitchen he saw a POG and asked what it was. I said "I don't know big guy you were in Afghanistan you tell me" Then I took him to the garage and showed him my pile of flight gear which was ready for my next mission. I told him to come clean. He never really did but I found out later he was a GD for 2 feild amb during one of their work ups in the states. He got all his stories from others while he was washing pots.
