    Wow, this is interesting. I have always enjoyed things like this. I picked up an original motor mechanics book a few years ago.

    Is this a recent pick up? I think I used to own part of that book.

    Check out the last picture. The glue patterns looks quite similar.

    Sixxpackjack the book you sent me in the link looks exactly like mine.  Mine has Sgt W.D. Mates HQ on the lid. I bought the book on ebay
