Here's a patch you don't often see

Very interesting, indeed! Can you fill in the back story? When, Why, etc.? I'd like to hear more about the group.

I don't know too much about the group. I know they were formed in 1947 and over their history began to advocate for minority rights and were successful in a struggle to have minorities admitted to nursing schools. I know their marching team won several "Drill" competitions up to the 1960's. I have no idea whether they are still a working association or not ? Perhaps other members have some more information to share.
