CEF General Service buttons

I was just wandering what styles or types of General service buttons were worn by the CEF in 1914-1918 period?

I realize some battalions had there own buttons but for rest of the battalions , what style did they were issue or was worn?

From my experience, WWI Canadian OR Tunics can be found with the following non battalion closure buttons:

1) Brass Canada buttons ( Large or small depending on the tunic )
2) Brass Imperial buttons
3) Compressed Leather Imperial buttons
4) A Vegetable Ivory (Primitive Plastic) Imperial button

There are a few others for more specific rare issue tunics but those types are seldom seen ...
