Did you try checking some of the surplus outlets in western Belgium? I was there in April and there were a number of Canadian WWII Greatcoats for sale - apparently no-one is really interested in them.

The search didn't work out. I am on a new mission, found and Dutch Great Coat wich fits me. Only have to change the buttons into GS Canadian ones. So, who has them for sale or knows someone? Allready searched Ebay.

Buttons front 25 mm. Buttons back i am not sure

From memory, I believe the back three are 25mm and the shoulder straps at 12.5mm.
