    I finally got one of these with some trading today. I have been looking for one of these for a long time.

    Nice piece ... what's the name in the smock? Looks like he's an MC winner ? May be worthy of further research!

    It was not uncommon for senior officers to wear these smocks in the field, even those without parachute wings.

    Nothing close to this name, which is a guess since it is buggered up a bit and partially unreadable, shows up in any airborne rosters so far. I'm not sure if there is a list of MC recipients. I haven't found one yet.
