ww2 medals

 Had these given to me recently along with a pic of each of the fellows. The medals belonged to her father and the memorial cross her sisters husband. The memorial cross is engraved with his name rank and serial number and also wo ag  which I assume is wireless operator, air gunner. The set of medals have very tired ribbons, don't like replacing with new but in this case I think I will. Would like to mount in a frame with his pic.  Question, is there a larger medal bar to accommodate the CD as well?   Cheers Brian

The maximum number of medals that can be mounted side by side is five, any more than that have to be overlapped......

Yes that is correct..... You overlap the ribbons equally depending on the number of medals.....

The most that I have ever mounted FOR WEARING was 11 in one group........

If you are mounting for display it is up to you how you mount them.....

I cannot remember the date but in the dress regulations it states that all medals were to be worn court style mounted.....
