Unknown Canadian blue duffle bag

Hi, I am new to the forum and am hoping someone can shed some light on this duffle bag.  It is blue in color and a heavy canvas, the eyelets are not round like most bags and there is a heavy duty clip for closing the bag. I have searched the web but can not find one identical. I hope my pictures come through. I have a few of these so I don't think they were private purchase.

I was issued one like this when in the RCN and have seen them also issued to the RCAF......

I was issued mine in the mid - 60's.....

They might have has some left over from the 50's but that serial number did not come into affect until the late 60's......
