Just so forum members don't go knocking themselves out to provide information, this was already discussed on this forum.

Sorry, Didn.t mean to ask anyone to knock themselves out providing information, I do have those bags posted on other forums but I didn't get a lot of info. I have great interest in military history but I am not a collector of military items. When such items come along, I usually sell or trade them but I usually try to find out if the items are rare or valuable before I do anything. Since they are military items that I have never heard of before and this is a military collectors forum, I thought this would be a good place to ask questions.

Those bags are Canadian 1943 to 1945 vintage and are meant to hold the spikes, bases, insulators and guy ropes for the telescoping 20' and 34' masts. These kits were used for a variety of radios including the 19, 9 Mk.1 and 52. Early ones had no printing on them but the later ones did as yours do. I've seen the empty bags sell in the $75 to $125 range, obviously more if the bases are there as a complete kit. The telescopic masts turn up quite often as do the NOS guy ropes, should you want to collect the whole package. I can provide pics of what should be inside them.

If you want to sell one of them I'd be interested and I'm trying to kit out a WW2 CMP radio van.
