The top badge is a repro that is readily available for about 25 bucks. The bottom badge is the officers OSD pattern although they were originally made by Gaunt with the Gaunt style lugs your seems to have been fitted with screw posts at some time. The value seems to swing between 1000 and 1500 dollars Canadian for this badge although I had one for sale at 1500 and it did not sell. Hope this helps.

Could the nuts be removed to see what is under them?

These belong to Mike Dyer...you may know him from CSC and other forums...so I will see if he will sign up and post more pictures.

    Agree with Michael.

This Officer badge has an interesting modification. I agree with Michael on the values. Small market for such a scarce and expensive badge. The badge might bring the upper end of the scale if there is a solid provenance to the original owner. It would be good to see the screw posts with the nuts removed.
