Stamps - Canada, Cadets Empty Stamps - Canada, Cadets

Post by howardgustav Sat Dec 28, 2019 10:09 pm

Hello. I collect various paper items - cards, envelopes and so on. A good acquaintance recently gave me a gift - postage stamps. He knows I'm fond of military history and modern weapons.  But I don't know much about stamps. Maybe there are people here who know and can tell me about it.

    Thank you in advance.

I found this postage stamp in an online catalogue: https://findyourstampsvalue.com/stamp/DP6B3QhEzW. It has no overall value...

Who cares about the value. I thought the whole idea of collecting was the enjoyment of assembling a group of like items and learning about them, not padding ones' retirement portfolio.

Yes Ed you are correct, rather abrasive, but correct. HOWEVER, it is nice to know the value of the items in ones collection for any number of reasons, weather it be a value for trade purposes, insurance purposes or in regards to personal assets should that need arise.

I know nothing about stamps so not able to offer any insight.
