    Report 145 on CANLOAN (i.e. Casualties, Awards, Etc.):

    For instance CANLOAN Casualties:

    Killed in Action or Died of Wounds 128 (20%), Wounded 310 (50%), Prisoners of War 27 (5% ). Total Casualties 465 (75%).

    Over the years there have been some interesting books published on military history. For instance Jews in the Union and Confederate Armies, Jews in the French Foreign Legion, the British Jewish Brigade and others. You don't hear much about the Jewish Canadians who fought in WW II.
