British 1" pom pom Empty British 1" pom pom

Picked up a pair of 1" pom pom cartridges that have been made into candle sticks - they appear to be post war due to the lathe work required to make the top portion. No damage was done to the projectile or case as all they did was to remove the fuze and place a brass support rod into the projectile to hold the candle.
I need to know what the value of a 1" cartridge would be as I'm not sure yet if I am going to dismantle one of them and salvage the cartridge or if they will be more valuable as trench art - bearing in mind that they look to be post war and there is no engraving on them.

    Thanks for any help provided.
