 Can any one tell me what I am missing on this helmet?
Looks like just a regular Canadian WWII helmet. Why did this one sell for $300!

At least two people were so eager to throw away there money that they missed all the other helmets out there for but a fraction of the price. Totally crazy.

Oh come on guys, the value is in the DUST. You just can't make that stuff up. The buyer got a bargain, it even comes with a frayed chinstrap. And what puts this offering over the top is the fact it is scuffed and worn, to the point where it LOOKS like was worn in battle during the war, as opposed to during the battle in peacetime.

You are way to critical of these auctions and you should all take a timeout. Try to come back with a better attitude toward such things. Sheesh.

You are right Dale, these people are never around when l sell something. Maybe the key is to sell a Canadian helmet in the British section and call it a British broadie helmet that has seen action (in some ones storage bin) lol.

must have included the display head for that price

I just can't believe the final selling price on that Mk II that is insane I have seen rare flashed examples of Mk II helmets sell for less than that .
