Are these tins WWII vintage?

Thanks Ed! That makes sense, as wartime Canadian shell dressings weren't bilingual (unlike South African examples).

When did they begin labeling items with "Canadian Forces Medical Services"? As far as I know SWW medical items were labeled with RCAMC and the use of CFMS didn't come into use until some time after unification in 1968.

Agree with Steve. The "CF" abbreviation was not used until the era of unification.
