Does anyone out there have an example of these boots? And is it possible to post a pic or two for reference? I bought a similar pair, but they are not Canadian, and just want to compare the differences.

Wow! those are beauts! Thanks Geoff! I see quite a few differences already without even comparing pics side by side. Oh well, they were a heck of a lot cheaper than an original pair would be and should be just fine for display.

Hi Dale,
I think you have a pair of the Dutch postwar boots but they are close in appearance and will work fine! These 3rd Div boots are nearly impossible to find it seems.
Cheers,
Geoff

Many WW II items were once common, but that's no longer so. German collectors are willing to pay several thousand dollars for an original pair of WW II Fallschirmjager (Paratrooper) boots.

High Top 'Assault' Boots
I own two pairs of these boots, here is an image of one pair as well as a photograph from a trials document.
