I recently purchaced this bag,it looks like some sort of kitbag.
But it is smaller than a regular kitbag (look at the bayonet).
I hope that someone here can tell me what it is?

The only thing that comes to mind is a personal effects bag of some sorts. But these are usually smaller than your bag. Interesting piece.

It belonged to a soldier of the RCAF because of the "R" in the serial number.
