In my 20 years in the military one of the most humbling experience I have had, was to attend a Ramp Ceremony in Kandahar...When WO Robert Wilson was killed on 5th Dec 2008, his fiancée was also serving in Kandahar at the time.. I have also known several 2PPCLI guys, who I ether knew around Battalion or I had worked together with.. Sad days.. :(
