Importing relic condition rifle Empty Importing relic condition rifle

Hey guys. Can anyone tell me how easy it would be to import relic weapons from France into Canada? As I am trying to get a small military interest boutique/Museum going here in Alberta I've been picking things up in the meantime. Came across this one just on the weekend! Hoping Canada Customs won't make it "disappear" on me.
I'll be calling Customs tomorrow just to find out,but thought maybe one or two of you fellows may have done a similar import.
    Thanks!

Member servicepub is probably the guy to answer this. I've never even entertained the idea, I asked the same question years ago and was told to forget it, the hassle wasn't worth it....but maybe things have changed.

Thanks Jeff. Chatted with Customs and RCMP today. They told me as long as you have our FAC(which I do) it should be fine and shouldn't be any trouble getting things over here. I've already imported a few other things without issue...we'll see I guess.
