I picked up the cap from Marway here in Winnipeg. I had my eye on it for quite some time, but it was missing its original badge (Jaime informed me it had been stolen). Even so, as a cap collector I couldn't resist. After a bit of a hunt, I was able to locate and purchase a beautiful Scully made sterling badge from Lou Grimshaw. The screw posts were a perfect match for the original holes on the cap, and the badge is a perfect fit over the imprint/discolouration left from the original badge.
I am able to make out a faint remnant of the owner's name inside the cap, which I plan to research further.
Definitely one of the finer pieces in my cap collection!
