    I asked the seller but there is no makers mark on the glengarry and on the cap badge

    As the seller of the cap, I don't believe it to be new and I would not knowingly sell it as a WW2 era cap if I believed it was new.  The cap was purchased from a respected militaria dealer who sold it to me as a WW2 era cap.  Based on their assessment as well as my own (as a collector of WW2 headwear) I believe the cap to be WW2 era.  However, without any provenance and without a date stamp, this is impossible to prove definitively.  Glens can be difficult to date, but in my opinion this is a nice representative example of a wartime era cap.  The cap is in great shape, but it is not new.

    I think Tremblay will be very happy with the cap once he sees it.  If not, he can return it and I will be happy to refund his payment.

    I was hoping the OP would make that connection between your username here and your ebay username and draw some conclusions about who the seller is and his credibility...
