War Traders Guild

Like many of us here, I am a member of many forums. Many many moons ago, I was a member of a forum that imploded due to the shenanigans of the forum owner. That was Military Collectors Forum, better known as MCF. It had a large following of very knowledgeable collectors, unfortunately it also attracted many alter-egos who played in a section where there were no rules.

Jeff and I were mods in the Commonwealth Sections, and toward the end, the forum owner decided to he needed to make space for more "playtime crap" at the expense of the Commonwealth Section. Many of the reference posts were stripped of their photos ect. Long story short, just prior to the implosion, many of us moved to a newly created forum called War Traders Guild. Better known as WTG...

Now it appears as WTG has gone offline. It was a pretty barren place lately, especially in regards to Commonwealth items. I have no idea why I am posting this here. I forgot what my point was.

Never mind this post. I would delete it but it took me a long time type this out.

WTG is gone now to? Dale and I believe Infanteer were solid contributors at MCF to. All of us put a lot of hardwork into some great reference threads over there. I saved a lot of my posts from WTG and moved them here thankfully, but most were lost from MCF.
Cliff remember even further back to MCN, that was where you became my mentor in this hobby.
Sad to see forums go for sure.

MCN, Damn yeah, with Lenny. That was one of the first forums I joined.

I wish to heck I still had all my Medals reference posts. I originally typed them all up in word, but I cannot find them on my computer. They must gotten lost over the years.

I know this is an old thread but what happened to WTG??

I recall getting a few emails from one or two disgruntled American chappies,but i was going through a bad personal time and kinda ignored the mails.

Havent heard a peep out of Sarge Steiner?
