Picked these up from the MCC of C show on Friday. Wartime shirts are not common so I thought this was a good find. However, I have to admit that I am not familiar with this style and what order of dress they would have been worn with. The pull over shirt is dated 1941 and the full button front shirt is dated either 1942 or 43.

A nice find! They were worn with KD Shorts in the summer in Canada.

Re: Short sleeve shirts
Scarce shirts. They are very difficult to find, and they look to be NOS.

Re: Short sleeve shirts
Thanks for the feedback guys. I suspected they were to be worn with a form of summer dress but wasn't certain. Marway Militaria had three more with faded markings if anyone is interested. No idea if they sold at the show or not.

Re: Short sleeve shirts
That is too cool! I've looked for one of those half-fronted shirts for years without any luck...
Do you remember if the remaining shirts with the faded markings were the half-fronted style?

Yes, at least one was a pull over style.
