I lucked into one for my 60mm mortar. It was a tough one to find. But a Canadian marked M4 mortar sight, which are somewhat common, proved to be even harder for me. A friend found me one in a junk shop.

Thanks for that! The sad truth is that I once had two C2 mortarsights that I purchased from Crown Assets. Not having a need at the time I eventually sold them. Now I need one!

Thats pretty much how life works I guess. That has happened to me more than a few times.

So do you have a mortar that needs it, or is it just to fill a spot in an optics collection?

Although dozens and dozens of British, Commonwealth and Canadian Military Rifles, I do not have any mortars. I do have a fairly eclectic optics collection (mostly British and Canadian). I have another purpose for the mortar sight: As one that is the optical design and manufacturing sector, I would like to have a C2 or C2A1 as a reference piece.
