This one belonged to my Grandfather. I have a pic or two of him wearing it during basic training in 1941. I was recently found by my Grandmother and forwarded to me but it was missing the RCASC badge. Bill A. was nice enough to sell me an extra badge he had so I could now put this cap on display. The cap was squished flat when I got it...probably been like that for decades. A little more shaping and it should be tip top.

Love those Brill cap ,have one like yours and got myself a RCAF blue one too if i am not mistaken they never been sent overseas ? It was only meant to be wore here in Canada ? Or i may be wrong . ?

"Brill Cap" is the name of the manufacturer in Winnipeg, not the type of cap. I own a couple of WW2 Tam O'Shanters made by Brill Cap.
