    Strathcona Swords in Boer War

Post by qsamike on Thu Sep 13, 2012 8:13 pm

    Good Evening Everyone.....

A while ago I was offered a Sword that was supposed to have been used during the Boer War by Strathcona's Horse.....

I knew that the regiment did not use swords during the war but did not have any written proof.....

    Well I do now....

    S T R A T H C O N A’ S H O R S E

Mike, that is a huge undertaking on your part. All the best to you in this project.

    Good Afternoon Cliff.....

I will most likely make copies of the disk available for a donation to the Regimental Museum.......

Will take me a some time though as it is nearly 400 pages..... (I am up to page 74)

Have tried to scan but due to the poor quality and format it is one of those things that will have to be hand done.....
