A friend who knows I'm a militaria collector gave these to me. Anyone have any details on these two items?

The first one is a US Navy Emergency Survival Hat-Headnet. A rather goofy looking thing. It was part of a Naval Aircrew Emergency kit that was issued to US Navy and Marine Pilots and aviation personnel in the Pacific Theater.
Second one is just what it says. It is a large gas sheet/vinyl bag with one end made of clear plastic to see though. It was to be worn in the case of a blistering agent gas attack.

The Gas Cover is American. Take note of the markings, that is one clue that it is American.
