heres my Issue Clasp Knife dated date 1943 the markings are: TAVLOR SHFFIELD ENGLAND WITNESS it also hads a eye stamp on it, looks almost egyptian.

It is made by the eye witness company, hence the eye symbol. I believe they still make knives to this day.
