Boer War Medals

Picked up a couple of Boer War items. A Kings Service medal with clasps. Awarded to Private T Priddy No 3378, RL; Welsh Fusiliers.

The other is a welcome home to the City of Toronto.

That welcome home is amazing, I have not seen one before. I keep seeing all these city medals and think I should start tracking them down since they are always so interesting.

This is one of the medallions sold to the general public as a souvenir……

There are also 2 Books that have been published with regards to these tribute medals, One strictly for the Boer War mostly English Medals and One for Canadian Medals from the Boer War through to World War Two.......

Sorry Mike, I meant I liked the metal from South Africa 1902 and 1901, but it's ALL good. Thank you for posting the collection.
