This is a picture of myself in January 1971. I am wearing an Air Force gray parka. It has that same patch on it. The gray AF parka was obsolete at the time and was being replaced by the green combat parka. I believe that the yellow patch was a mean to identify static free clothing for work around air crafts and explosives.
