Recent ebay purchase that came in today. It is a GSW AP marked mkII shell. According to Tin Lids, the AP stamped shells were rejected for combat use and diverted to civil defense. Still working on what the acronym Q.C.E.A. would stand for? Only thing I can think of is Quebec City...something...something. Helmet came out of Nova Scotia though.
It is in superb condition and does not show any abuse at all...some minor scrapes but mostly just really dusty. Liner has dried out a bit, but that is all too common. Lots of spider webs around the liner which is good to see.
