Headgear of a medic Empty Headgear of a medic

Post by FPH Sun Sep 18, 2011 1:23 pm

    Hi all,

A couple of months ago I bought this medic's battledress of a corporal of the 3rd Inf Div. Inside there's the man's name and factory stamps.

I want to know what kind of head gear I have to look for? General service cap, beret, side cap or glangarry.

Apart from the belt what kind of bags and combat gear they wore?

    Thanks & bye.

To get you started, the appropriate headdress for this tunic is the khaki beret with a RCAMC cap badge. It appears to be a late war tunic, with the service stripes and medal ribbons that are displayed. You could also use a khaki field service cap (wedge cap) with the RCAMC badge, and while not a late war headdress it would be appropriate for a display.

    Thank you for the advice.

Any suggestion where I can find one?

    Bye.
