Post by qsamike Thu Sep 13, 2012 7:13 pm

    Good Evening Everyone.....

A while ago I was offered a Sword that was supposed to have been used during the Boer War by Strathcona's Horse.....

I knew that the regiment did not use swords during the war but did not have any written proof.....

    Well I do now....

    S T R A T H C O N A’ S H O R S E

I am in the progress of a very long project for me re-typing onto a computer then putting on a disk the full Daily Routine Orders of Strathcona's Horse from its founding till it's disbandment....

    Good Afternoon Cliff.....

I will most likely make copies of the disk available for a donation to the Regimental Museum.......

Will take me a some time though as it is nearly 400 pages..... (I am up to page 74)

Have tried to scan but due to the poor quality and format it is one of those things that will have to be hand done.....
