I came across this interesting piece today when curising the local gun/militira show. All the guy could tell me was that it came from a place in the Townships (possibly a Legion). This perticular battalion hold a special place in my heart has it was my great grandfathers battalion. I'm also a collector of Townships militaria and thought I would share this unique peice with you all. Its embroidered on a piece of cotton strethed over a piece of veneer.
