     Wanted Empty Wanted

Post by Cameraguy Wed Nov 27, 2013 1:54 am

Looking for ww2 officers tunic 42 chest. Also require matching trousers 34'ish waist, with about a 32/33 inseam.I'd prefer an unmarked bd.
    I have a named Lt.'s bd/trousers that I would possibly trade.
    Thanks!

I'm a bit confused, are you looking for officer's service dress or battle dress? There was no officer specific BD but some were modified with an open collar.

No worries, but that means I don't have anything to offer. Good luck.

     Wanted Empty Still looking...

Post by Cameraguy Sat Dec 28, 2013 2:14 am

    Can anyone help?

    I'm doing a reenactment of a NNSH Lt. for the D-Day 70th anniversary next year in France.I am actually looking for officers;

    -BD,the tailored split front,approximately a 42 chest
-Khaki belt(33'sh or so,not sure if they are adjustable)to help with the impression
    -Officer style boots 9 1/2
-Officers holster/with Webley if possible, but I'd be happy with Colt/holster as well. Of course/de-acts are the way I'd go.

Let me know if you have any of the gear,or if you want to hear more about the "Return to Normandy 2014" NNSH tribute/dedication initiative. If you are on Facebook, check it out there.
    Return to Normandy 2014

    Cheers,thanks for the help!

    Hi Camera Guy,

How did it go at the 70th anniversary of D-day? I sure wish I was able to attend.

Did you manage to find enough officers kit to make the uniform work?

Hey! The trip went well.I will be posting a few pics soon,as well as the photos of my BD uniform. Call me narcissistic(as someone already has) but I think it was quite to cool to have a D-Day authentic uniform back for the 70th Anniversary.
    Ill post soon,keep a watch!

Excellent. I look forward to the pictures. Glad it went well.
I think it is great you want to be as authentic as possible.
