    Explosives Empty Explosives

    Post by Kev55 Sat May 17, 2014 11:17 pm

Hi All, I'm currently doing a bit of research into the weapons and equipment issued to the Auxilliary Units in England 1940, and have come accross NS Polar Gelignite, (gelignite formed most of the explosive stock early on, due to shortages of Plastique). I think that it may be a product of C.I.L., (although cannot find anything on the internet about it), and was wondering if anyone could throw light on it, and maybe even have an inert example that I could make up a wrapper or two from.
    Many thanks, Kev
