I just picked this up and I know it is an US Mark 3 flak helmet. Did any other aircrew use this helmet during WW2? Hope I can post some pictures. The sgt. chevron probably does not belong. Chip strap and liner are both present. One ear flap has cork the other none. flocking still good. Writing one spot. Still I think nice condition. OK having trouble posting picture. Will try later.
