I have a rusty ( no original Paint left) Mk 3 helmet that I want to clean and repaint.

Is there any hardware rattle can colours that are accurate?

I don't know about Canadian paint, but here's a link for US paint. Should be similar.

go to crappy tire and get a rattle can of green oxide self etching primer for the base coat..that will seal it well..its kind of an olive drab colour..i use it on bare metal panels when i restore vehicles, holds up well and doesnt get that "dusty" thing that most primers get from being left outdoors..then find a home hardware and look for krylon paint..they make 3 colours called "camoflage" in a rattlecan.brown, flat black and olive drab..check out the olive drab one..its pretty close to what you want once its dry.
