    Hey guys,

Had some luck at an auction today, there was scads of militaria. As you
can see I did pick up some quantities of things, some things I didn't
want but when they didn't sell on there own, they added them into lots
    that I wanted.LOL!

The BD is WWII Officers tailored with trousers. The life belt is dated
1943, though, I have never seen this pattern before..anyone else
    familiar with it?

The four caps across the front are WWII Canadian made caps. The tankers
helmets are also Canadian made with complete liners..in great condition.

The bandoliers are all C broad arrow marked and dated 1945.

The navy blue wedge caps are all 1970's RMC...one of the lots I didn't
    want.

The pile of khaki wedge caps are all C broadarrow marked and dated 1943.
I believe they are WWII Army cadet caps, but am open for correction on
    that one.

Obviously the wedge caps and bandoliers are for sale, so if you are
interested let me know. I will post them in the appropriate forum soon.

I also will be selling my lesser conditioned WWII tankers helmet as I
    have just upgraded.

The BD and trousers are also for sale, contact me if interested.

If only you had seen what I didn't get. Korean era greatcoats were selling for $5.00each. The gave away two 1950's RCAF BD and trouser sets because no one wanted them. It was pretty wild at the end, not many people left so stuff was cheap. The good stuff still got decent prices, but not what you would expect to pay even at an auction.

YEAH YEAH, Go ahead and rub it in Jeff. I think when my kids get back from Troronto today, WE are going to have words. LMAO.

Too bad they chose this weekend to go out of town. Wife and I had to stay here to watch the animals.

Not meant to rub it in Cliff, you know I was hoping you could make it since it was the last time to get together before you head back to KAF.
The PIAT went for $2700 and the Boyes Antitank rifle went for $1700...add in 10% buyers premium and 13% tax and it was cheaper to buy them from a dealer at the Etobicoke show.LOL!
I will be adding some things into your pile, by the time you back home again..it should be huge.

Nice haul Jeff. Just to confirm, the khaki / red wedges appear to be cadet issue caps.

I should have commented on that too. Jeff those khaki side caps with the red peaks are as you say, Cadet caps.

The bloody PIAT went for just stupid money. OMG. Am I that far out of touch with current prices? Would have loved to attend this one for sure. Any idea what the Inglis HPs went for?
