Found this inert rifle grenade today from 1963.

Is $37 a reasonable price for it??

Inert Rifle Grenade Empty Motherhood Statments

You lucked in this time, but you will really have to alter your 'business plan' and be able to purchase and identify items without running to the forum to justify your latest find. This may sound gruel, but it is not meant to be. Really, you are gambling with your hard earned money buying things that you do not know what they are. Purchasing things just because they are military or look military and you can afford them at the time is 'speculating' and not collecting. Especially if you do not know what you have bought. There is also an element of safety when buying ordnance and if you do not know what to look for, there is the potential that you could be badly injured or even killed.

Remember, it is your money you are laying out and I assume you had to work for it and earn it.

Ordnance is a specialized side of the 'hobby' and I cannot stress enough that if this is what interests you then you should be buying or checking out your local library for good reference material.

Rather than this forum doing all the work and identifing your item, you tell us what you have? I have had loads of 'collectors' tell me that they run to these forums because they are 'trying to learn'. Well here is lesson No. 1. Why is your item blue? What do the markings say and more importantly what do they tell you?
