unknown mess kit Empty unknown mess kit

Post by expendablenate Fri Mar 20, 2015 2:18 am

Hello all. Just let me apologize in advance I'm sure I'm posting in the wrong area. I came across this kit. By the markings I'm thinking it was used by the boy scouts, as well the little info I did find implied it was made in south Wales circa 1910. I'm hoping some one can shed some light on it. Thank you in advance.

The leather tie on the cutlery is a wolf cub neck tie. And the fluer de lis marking may indicate the tin is a boy scout cooking tin.

Do a google search and you will find dealers who sell Boy Scout stuff. You can learn the value from their website.
