Museum for RCEME Empty Museum for RCEME

    Good day all,

A good friend has asked me to handle disposal of her late husbands military badges and effects. He was a long serving member of the RCEME with tours in Germany, the Middle East and here in Canada. He had been retired for several years, and sadly, passed away last fall. I will probably come into possession of his effects sometime in early November.

She had heard that the RCEME were trying to get a Museum going in Kingston, and she thought they might be interested in some of his effects. She heard about this a while ago, but has not heard anything more about it.

Does anyone know if this project has gotten off the ground? If so, does anyone have a contact name and number I could use? Any information any of you can provide to assist me in this would be appreciated.

If this project is a go, any items that the Museum is not interested in will be offered here. Any monies realized will go back to my friend.

Quick google search shows the museum in Kingston opened in May of 2016. If you can post some pictures of the grouping and a small right up here that would be great.
I for one would be interested in seeing it in its entirety

Thanks, Jeff. I'll do a Google search myself and check it out. Not in possession of his stuff right now. Probably in November. When I get it, I'll upload some pics for everyone.
