    Hi Everyone
    I found this badge on the shore of the East river it is a N.S HighLanders badge but ive know idea how old it is. I did try to find it on line but none with a Red Thistle.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

    thanks jonhno i have tryed to find an example but no others look like this with the colored thistle

    Hi Barriefield
    It does have a small metal loop on one side that cotter pin would have been push through the other side nothing think it might have eroded away in the salt water

    It is a North Nova Scotia Highlanders Capbadge,could be WW2 era .

    I think the red is corrosion .
