    very common reproduction. The easiest way to tell right out of the gate is the shape of the "O". The originals are move oval than round as this example is.

    I am confused. My father served with the kangaroos and I have both examples of badges in my possession. I cannot see why my father would have a fake.

    Vets often acquired "their badge" after the fact. They are given or purchase the reproduction for any number of reasons.
